The Psyche spacecraft is targeted to launch in 2022 and travel to the asteroid using solar-electric (low-thrust) propulsion, arriving in 2026. ASU, as the lead of the Psyche mission, aims to develop a mobile app to engage the public in the mission in a way that is fun and interactive. To achieve this goal, the Psyche mission team has invited an interdisciplinary team of senior capstone students to compete in the development of a mobile experience (game, interactive, AR, etc.) for Psyche.
