- What are we hacking?
We are not hacking or attempting any cyber crimes but we are building/ creating innovative projects based on the generic prompt given at the time of the Hackathon.
- What if I am new to all this?
This is all about getting an experience and learn. We highly encourage beginners to come as it is an opportunity for peer networking and you get to take back great ideas home!
- Are we pulling an all-nighter?
Yes! You have 20 hours to build your innovative project. You can use the 20 hours by sleeping/eating/coding!
- Should we bring sleeping bags?
You are encouraged to bring them if you plan to sleep but if not we are guessing you don’t mind getting a quick nap sitting!
- What if I don’t have a team and an Idea?
That’s ok! It’s quite common to have no idea at the beginning. There will be time at the beginning of the event for brainstorming. We’ll also have mentors around to help you come up with ideas.
- What should I bring?
Participants may bring a sleeping bag, pillows, blankets, energy drink/ any medications and other basic amenities. Don’t forget your LAPTOP and STUDENT ID.
- Do we have to stay the whole time?
We would prefer you stay the whole time to get most out of the event but if there is any emergency, please let us know and we can make arrangements. Please be present at the start of the event to form teams and get all the instructions.
